PRJNCT: Challenge 5 Results

After scouring the Holy Bible for design inspiration, the seven remaining designers met in cyberspace to find out who would be eliminated this round.

In random order, the top 2 and bottom 2 designs were seen on:

Stevie/Belinda Cosgrove, Malaria, Tawna and Xylophone.

Stevie/Belinda Cosgrove: Judges thought that Stevie/Belinda looked fierce in this dress, which featured a perfect color pallette. The dress fits the model like a glove and is wearable in today's fashion scene. The design coordinated with the sin, unlike many of the other designs. The black stripes accentuated the dress nicely. The bloody knife was also a nice touch. One judge noted that this designer has been growing each week, and hopes that he/she keeps up the good work.
Mom says: "She looks like a tube of red lipstick. Wow... pretty!"

Malaria: Judges had mixed emotions about this design. Some judges were impressed with the material choice and the shape of the dress. The designer was able to use food without making the material choice look obvious. The dress was well-made and clearly the result of a lot of effort. However, other judges were disappointed that this dress seemed similar to a design seen on the runway during challenge #2. One judge commented, "I like this dress now, but I liked it a few weeks ago when I saw it for the first time."
Mom says: "I don't see gluttony; the dress is simple and modest."

Tawna: While one judge found this designer's interpretation of pride to be 'clever,' many other judges were confused; 'pride does not translate to ugly.' Judges did not like the design of this outfit or the material choice, saying that it seemed more appropriate for a Halloween outfit, a parade, or someone who was drunk and high. One judge hoped the design was a play on Scarlett O'Hara's curtain dress, but was sadly disappointed. "At least Scara knew the correct definition of pride," they remarked.
Mom says: "She looks like a couch!"

Xylophone: One of the judges were excited by this design, even thanking the designer for crafting it; "Yay. You made something I can dust my house with. Thank you." Others designers weren't as excited, saying that the look was more suited for a snowy wizard than a pampered princess. The look was well-crafted, but the judges wanted to see more at this stage, not just a plain outfit that 'makes them want to sneeze.' Referring to the designer's rationale, one judge commented, "Sloth is an ugly word. And so is this dress."
Mom says: "Ugly."

Votes have been calculated and the winning designer this challenge is.....

Stevie/Belinda Cosgrove's designer!

Congrats anonymous designer! This is S/BC's designer's first win in the competition. They now have immunity for next week's challenge.

Malaria's designer is also safe, as he/she has immunity from last week.

And the losing design was worn by.........

Tawna. Meaning her designer Dave S. is out of the competition.

Farewell Dave S.! Looks like the women are ruling this competition....

Wow, those judges sure know how to bare their claws and cut deep! I guess Michelle is right, the curse may be a guy thing, and not a glasses thing after all. I guess that explains why I was the first to go. Apparently I was just too much of a butch, macho, studly guy. ;) Enrico and Adam better watch out now!

Farewell to our Dave. It is a tragedy that he left before his DIB photo : (.

And he was supposed to be DIB next week! And last week, but he took too long to send a pic so we got Preston to do it.

And least we got to see that n00d of him earlier in the competition.

Maleria u deserved to go home... you suck as a designer. who ever is judginig this competition cut u a break. Stealing someone's else design is not cool. if i knew who u were i would slander ur name. You should commit suicide. Now onto judging this weeks competition.

S. Cronicle - You realize Malaria's designer won all but 2 challenges so far and that YOU voted him/her in the top before right? Haha.
