In challenge 3 of PR:JNCT, the designers had to create ONE look that was appropriate for the workplace AND a night out on the town.
Based on those designs, one designer will be leaving the competition, and one will win the challenge, gaining immunity for the 4th challenge.
The top 2 and bottom 2 designers included:
Tawna, Malaria, Chlamydia and Bambi DuJour.
Tawna: The judges thought that this look did follow the challenge well enough, but questioned the color choice. They thought the brown was fine for the office and the colorful top was appropriate for the nightlife, but not the other way around. Judges also applauded the work that went into sewing the outfit, but thought the seam going down the center of the skirt was a misstep.
Mom says: "It looks backwards; the back should be the front!"
Malaria: Judges thought this look best captured the 'office' to 'evening' look; Malaria looks like she works at an art gallery and then can let her hair down and go clubbing after. The dress was modern and well-constructed. However, the back of the skirt was called 'a bit tubelike' and very unflattering for Malaria, as it hid her curves.
Mom says: "She is giving me malaria from behind! Very tubelike; no butt, no curves. Front is incomplete; I feel like she needs a jacket to go over her outfit for work."
Chlamydia: The amount of work Chlamydia's designer put into this outfit was noted by the judges, who were impressed with the detail. While the bubble wrap jacket was mostly seen as impractical and not something a modern girl would really wear, judges understood the hard work that went into creating the piece. However, some judges believed the outfit was more like an art project and couldn't find its relevance in today's fashion world.
Mom says: "The shoes look like they come from Payless and the bubble wrap sweater esta feisimo!"
Bambi DuJour: Judges were disappointed with Bambi DuJour's designer, as this is their third appearance in the bottom two. After repeated showings in the bottom two, judges were hopeful that the designer would heed their advice and fight to stay in the competition. However, this look was called messy, unfinished and ill-fitting.
Mom says: "Es un desastre. It looks like a piece of.... The bottom looks like granny panties and from behind they have split."
After the votes were tallied... the winner of challenge 3....
is the same winner as challenge 2: Congratulations Malaria's designer!
Chlmydia was also declared safe.
And the designer going home has model....
Bambi DuJour. After three strikes, it seems Bambi has walked the runway for the last time.
Adios Josh! You will be missed.

curse of the blondes....Tawna better watch out.
Sunglasses are the kiss of death. Enrico and Adam better look out.
Oh no, Ryan! Enrico and I may be doomed. Nathan, any chance that you're wearing transition lenses?
Uh oh. Is it the curse of the sunglasses or the curse of the blonde Barbie?
Bye Josh. I miss your z'z already.
Awwww. I'll miss you Josh. Hugs.
Congrats Malaria and Chlamydia for being in the top two again. Maybe the good luck charm for this competition is going to be a name that's an illness. Hmmmm. :-)
Congrats Malaria!!! Great job.

It's a tough competition. These judges are ruthless. So glad I am just watching this.
Sorry to see you go Josh. :-( Congratulations, Malaria!
I *knew* that dress was crap when I was being fitted for it! I tried to tell them them that it was, like, totally bogus, but the little twerp was all, like, "this is the best design *ever*!" and like, "I'm so *awesome*!"
Can I, like, switch designers?
Or maybe just buy them a pair of sunglasses...
Good Job Everyone!! Congratulations again Malaria!! :o)

BOSSY, BOSSY's Friend Martha and I had an intense discussion on the fabulousness of this contest (and that bubble wrap coat) over the weekend.
